Even though she’s English, the lengthy permanency in the States has  deeply affected the musical experience of the young singer-songwriter, who, upon returning to London, now presents an album with explicit folk, rock, country, even western swing citations. The quintet that accompanies her includes 2 oriental instrument players (Asaf Sirkis and Sameer Mahhoul) and talented jazzmen such as Gilad Atzmon, the philo-Palestinian Israeli on the wind instruments and accordion.
